The team at Dale Carnegie Training of Ohio and Indiana is on the hunt for account executives to develop business in our Ohio and Indiana territories. A result-oriented, innovative person with a high level of enthusiasm and initiative will do well in this position.

Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Calling on new clients
Calling into small and medium businesses and departments in larger corporations
Conducting consultations and performing needs assessments
Creating solutions to address clients and prospects needs
Creating proposals for businesses as needed
Conducting sales meetings with clients to deliver proposed solutions
Conveying the value proposition of Dale Carnegie Training to local businesses
Keep all records updated and generate reports on sales activities and opportunities

Job Description Qualifications and Required Skills:
A self starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
Exemplary prospecting skills
Versed in a consultative sales approach
Comfortable selling to mid and upper level executives
Strong business acumen
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work alone or with a team
Excellent phone, written and oral communication skills
Open minded, can-do attitude and the ability to be coached
Time management and organization skills
Past experience in sales with a proven success record
Computer skills and familiarity with MS office applications
Familiarity with Lotus Notes a plus
Familiarity with SalesForce a plus
Familiarity with current web technologies a plus

The team at Dale Carnegie Training of Ohio and Indiana is looking for flexible and out-of-the-box thinkers to become Instructors and coaches for our programs in the Major Metropolitan areas in Ohio and Indiana. Someone who is personable, flexible, and has a commanding presence in front of groups will be an excellent fit for this position.

As an instructor, you will be a mentor and coach in our programs consisting of 20 to 40 participants per class. You will conduct reviews of participants’ advancement in the program, their progress in achieving their stated outcomes, and coaching them to exceed their current perceived limitations. As a trainer, you will constantly push the edge in presentation and communication tactics and methodology to keep participants engaged, keep the programs lively and interesting. If you enjoy being in front of a group, watching people grow, and helping people exceed their expectations, then we have a place for you.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Conducting consultations with participants and sales team to determine participants’ outcomes
Participating in local training events and program refreshers
Consult with director of Training and other trainers to exchange training ideas
Maintaining records and generating reports on sales activities, opportunities and account health
Consult with Account executives and account managers to tailor solutions to clients needs.
