Mike McClain started his Dale Carnegie career in 1980 as an instructor and training consultant. He currently is certified to teach the Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Communication and Human Relations, the Sales Advantage, Leadership Training For Managers, High Impact Presentations, Leadership Advantage, World Class Customer Service, High Performance Teams, and the different workshops and seminars offered by Dale Carnegie Training. During his career, Mike has reached various sales levels including the 250, 375, 500, and 750 clubs. He has also received recognition for quality instruction.

In 1992, Mike was awarded the Dale Carnegie Franchise in the Akron/Canton area of Ohio. He sold the franchise in 1996 after increasing revenue 50%. Mike has had the opportunity to consult and do training for several organizations including BMW Financial Services, American Electric Power, WD Partners, General Motors, AT & T and Clear Channel Communications. He conducts numerous seminars, workshops, talks and coaching sessions a year.

Mike lives in the Columbus, Ohio area with his wife of twenty-four years and two children. He is actively involved in the community as the Director for Basketball as well as the Director of Facilities for the Worthington Youth Boosters. At his church, he serves on the technical crew. Mike also is a certified High School Basketball Referee and Baseball Umpire in the state of Ohio.

McClain is a graduate of the Ohio State University. He also serves on the sports drug and alcohol committee at the local High School.
