Hill, Mike

Account Manager

Mike is an experienced executive, having held numerous senior management positions throughout his career. For nearly two decades he served in management and marketing development for an industrial distribution company of which he was part owner. In that capacity, he was responsible for outside sales, earning new business and developing long-term customer relationships.

As company Vice President for a mostly family-owned Industrial Distribution Company for the past 18 years, Mike was responsible for growth and business development. During his tenure, he grew the company from a one-plant business with sales of $4 million to a six-location business with sales of $26 million/year. As a result, Mike has extensive experience in sales, coaching, strategic planning, and business planning. In addition, the development of new and existing accounts is one of his many business passions. In his spare time, Hill wrote the book on how companies can get maximum productivity from their employees. His book Measuring to Manage explains how to use measurable data to get maximum employee performance.

Mike’s exposure to a wide range of businesses during his career makes him a wonderful fit with Dale Carnegie Training of Indiana.
